What is full-time?
Essence of the question
Under the full-time job means work during the entire time, which is regulated in the individual labor contract or collective agreement with the employer. It is the most popular form of employment for the working population, since statistically people with a full form of employment receive much more than if they were employed using other forms (part-time, flexible hours, part-time work, etc.).

According to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, the duration of the working week is 40 hours. Traditionally, it is divided into 5 days, 8 hours each, but this is not practiced everywhere. Every day there is a set time for lunch, which is at least 1 hour (maybe more, but it depends on the geographical area of the enterprise and the working conditions at it). A full day may be 10 and 12 hours, then the number of such days will be reduced. Otherwise, the employer is required by the same code to establish an overtime supplement.
If the employee is not paid for overtime, he can complain about this to his employer. If the employee is not heard by his supervisor, he should contact the labor inspectorate, which must monitor all cases of violation of labor laws. An audit will be conducted, after which the labor inspector will issue an order to the management of the organization to eliminate all violations in a specified period. If violations continue, then the inspection has the right to put forward large penalties to the leadership.
Although this is the most common type of employment not only in Russia, but also in the world, a job seeker should understand that he is required to observe discipline and work schedule adopted in the organization where he works. If a person is not ready to work 8 hours a day (or even more) with 1 hour for lunch, he should look for work in another company or try to agree with the employer on other conditions of his working day.
The labor legislation of the Russian Federation is tough enough on the issue of compliance with the norm at 40 working hours per week, but how these hours will be distributed within a week is a matter of the company's personnel policy. Therefore, a job seeker has a real chance to get a job in an organization that can provide him with a convenient work schedule.
