What is a resume
The word "summary" is of French origin and means "a brief statement". Today summary is meant as a brief description of professional achievements and qualities of the applicant, which aims to interest the employer, to create a positive opinion about a potential employee and to arrange a personal meeting.
Summary creates the first impression about the applicant that is an important point in meeting with a recruiter. Usually it does not exceed in amount two printed sheets of A4 size and should not take more than 4-5 minutes reading it.
Most summary if you do not follow a clear structure, a sequence of mandatory items. This is a full indication of surname, name and patronymic, date of birth, contacts (which includes not only phone numbers but also email, Fax and other means of communication). Further, the applicant should indicate the purpose of your resume — for example, obtaining a certain position in the company. Be sure to specify the education and work experience over the past 10 years in chronological order. In the absence of experience (graduates) describes the locations of internships, additional courses and trainings.
Many applicants pay great attention to the latest topics — additional personal information, but lately, the recruiters recommend not to concentrate on them. They must specify the minimum information you really should know the employer knowledge of languages, driving license and car, own a computer and other office equipment. Because of the personal qualities listed are those that have the attitude to work (commitment, professionalism and the like).
Indicating the desired salary, placing a photo (of course, if the employer does not require it) and self-glorification are considered bad form.
