Understand yourself. It is important for you to understand whether your dissatisfaction with the work is permanent, or it is a temporary phenomenon that is the result of fatigue, health problems, confusion in your personal life, worsening working conditions or increasing workload associated with a certain period. If it's not the job itself, changing it, you will not bring improvements to your life, but only complicate it. Think about what exactly does not suit you. Be prepared for the first answer to be wrong. For example, it seems to you that you do not get paid enough. But at the same time, your salary seems to be adequate to the volume of work that you are doing. You look at the vacancies and see the same picture in terms of material incentives. It turns out that it's not a salary and not a bonus, but that you do not grow in a professional sense. You need to understand: whether you yourself do not show initiative, the leader stubbornly does not notice your achievements, or in your company there are no prospects for growth. This will be the answer to the question of what your discontent is.
Solve the problem. If the case is in office, think about how you can take another. Think broadly. Another post does not necessarily mean an increase. Sometimes the horizontal advancement of an employee within one enterprise also brings satisfaction and joy. Think about whether you are attracted by some kind of related sphere, and whether you are ready to re-qualify. If the matter really is in the salary or in the rejection of the corporate culture, it may be worth looking for another job.
Talk to the boss. If the problem can be solved with its help, try to do it. Choose a good time for negotiations, show your value to the firm, justify your requirements and put forward an offer. Just do not blackmail the employer with dismissal and refer to the fact that you have already been invited to a couple of firms better after the interviews. Let you have an offer from another company in reserve, but you do not need to talk about it. Just tell me that you want to improve the conditions and tell me why you deserve them.
