How to be if you do not like work
Understand yourself. It is important for you to understand whether your dissatisfaction with work can be called permanent, or is it a temporary phenomenon that is a consequence of fatigue, health problems, confusion in your personal life, deterioration of working conditions, or an increase in the amount of work associated with a certain period. If the matter is not in the work itself, changing it, you will not bring improvements in your life, but only complicate it. After all, the existing problems will add the need to find a suitable job and a feeling of regret for the erroneously perfect step.
Think what exactly does not suit you. Be prepared for the fact that the first answer is not correct. For example, it seems to you that you pay little. But at the same time, your salary seems to be adequate to the amount of work that you do. You are viewing vacancies and see about the same picture in terms of material incentives. It turns out that the point is not salary and not a bonus, but that you are not growing in a professional sense. You need to understand: whether you yourself do not take initiatives, the manager stubbornly does not notice your achievements, or your company has no growth prospects. This will be the answer to the question, what is your discontent.
Solve the problem. If it is a matter of office, consider how you can take another. Think wider. Another post does not necessarily mean promotion. Sometimes the horizontal advancement of an employee within one enterprise also brings satisfaction and joy. Consider whether you are attracted to some kind of adjacent field, and whether you are ready to retrain. If the matter is really in salary or in the rejection of corporate culture, it may be worth looking for another job.
Talk to the boss. If the problem can be solved with its help, try to do it. Choose a good time for negotiations, show your value for the company, justify your requirements and put forward a proposal. Just do not blackmail the employer with the dismissal and refer to the fact that you have already been invited to a couple of better firms based on the results of the interviews. Let you have an offer from another company in reserve, but do not talk about it. Just say that you want to improve conditions and tell why you deserve them.
