How to correctly quit
Do not tell any of your colleagues about your intention to quit until the last moment. If the company finds out that you are leaving, the bosses can choose a replacement in advance. This will be especially unpleasant if you have not yet found a new job. In addition, colleagues can make you tedious and even abusive interrogations, as well as dispel rumors. First of all, the boss should know about your dismissal, and then only when you are ready to leave.
Try not to enter into conflicts with colleagues and superiors. When they quit, people sometimes cease to monitor their actions and make complaints that they have kept in themselves for a long time. You should not do this: who knows under what circumstances you will meet next time.
Do not let colleagues and bosses find out that you are looking for a new job. Do not lay out your resume on well-known sites, do not search for vacancies in the workplace, and before calling a potential employer, make sure that this is not your own boss.
When you are asked about the reasons for dismissal, you do not need to say unpleasant things. Choose a neutral reason: you have found a better place, you would like to climb higher on the career ladder, picked up a job closer to home, etc. But do not talk about conflicts with colleagues, stupid boss, too low wages, hateful work, etc. Then, perhaps, a former manager or colleague can even help you in the future.
Write the application correctly. The best option is to terminate the contract as agreed by the parties, because in this case you will receive compensation. But if the boss does not agree to dismiss you, write a statement of your own free will, and in duplicate. You will need the second copy if, after two weeks of forced labor, the manager says that he does not intend to dismiss you and has not signed any statement.
