How to write a service description
The service description is written by the immediate superior of the employee. It consists of four parts: capital, questionnaire, main and reflecting personal qualities. If the writing of such a characteristic is received by you, then contact the personnel department and request basic personal data.
Take a sheet of A4 standard writing paper and write a heading on top. Follow the sheet and enter the word “Characteristic” and the surname, first name and patronymic of the employee that he currently holds.
In the questionnaire, specify the basic information of the profile: place and year of birth, completed educational institutions. Specify the year of graduation and received in the training specialty List the main milestones of the work history - organizations in which the person worked and the positions held at the same time.
In the main part tell about the work of the employee in your organization. List the positions that he held at different times, the duties that were assigned to him at the same time. Reflect his attitude to work - refresher courses that he graduated from, participation in conferences and seminars, scientific papers and publications. List the incentives that he received while working in the organization. Mark his personal contribution to the activities in which the company is engaged, projects that were executed with his participation.
Tell about his personal qualities that help or hinder a person in the line of duty. Mark his conscientiousness, creative approach to instructions, timeliness and accuracy of their implementation. Or, on the contrary, reflect in the description the necessity, non-punctuality, fear of the new. As an immediate superior, you, like no one else, will be able to objectively characterize this employee, his working qualities.
In the description reflect the relationship with the team - goodwill, willingness to help or unsociable character, the tendency to squabble.
The service description is signed by the immediate superior, the head of the department and must be endorsed in the personnel department.
