How to reach the client base
Develop a technical basis for creating a client base. It can be either a regular Excel file or a multi-level program created for your personal needs. The main thing is that you can store and analyze all the necessary information about customers: name, contact information, purchase history or services provided, nuances of service. For convenience, keep the database in print, in specially structured folders.
Do so that the client himself wants to share information for your database. The most common way is to fill out a questionnaire in exchange for discount cards. This method will allow you to fix the amount spent by the visitor, as well as the frequency of visits to your company. The process of filling out the questionnaire should not be taken away from the visitor for more than 1-2 minutes, so as not to make him wait and be nervous. Do not require too much personal information: enough name, city of residence and way of feedback.
Use existing customers to attract new ones. The conditions should be actually stimulating. For example, for each given friend, a representative of your customer base receives a large one-time discount for the next order or purchase.
Access to the client base of competitors or similar companies is a great way to entice customers to their side. If it is not a question of secret materials or illegal methods of obtaining such data, such a method is fully justified. For example, you worked in a women's clothing store, and now you are going to open a beauty salon. If there is an opportunity to keep access to contact data of customers, feel free to use it. So you will not damage the previous business and get a chance to find new customers. Try also to exchange databases with partners if your goals do not overlap. For example, if you are organizing children's holidays, you can mutually share contact details of clients with the leadership of the center for early development.
