How not to lose work in a crisis
Good specialists are dismissed last. Make every effort to become a professional in your field and an indispensable employee for your company. Do all the work that is entrusted qualitatively, observe the terms that are assigned to you for accomplishing this or that volume. If you do not have time, it is rational to spend your free time, to stay in the evening, but to finish everything in the prescribed time. Do not require that you get paid for overtime. The global crisis is not the time to dictate our terms.
Establish friendly relations with colleagues and management. Conflict employees who argue with everyone for any reason and without, are fired in the first place. If you are executive, communicative, ready to help at any moment, always fulfill all orders qualitatively and in a timely manner, it is unlikely that the employer will want to save on such valuable personnel.
Be always in sight. In large companies with more than 1000 employees, many employers dismiss those employees who are least known, respectively, and are valued. Take an active part not only in the implementation of projects, but also in the public life of the enterprise. Speak at general meetings and conferences, especially if the questions concern further plans for the development of the company and strategic decisions that help to overcome the financial crisis. It is most rational to do this, if you have something to say, you have a lot of experience and can offer your effective ways.
Advance on the career ladder. Crisis is the time for a bold undertaking. If you have long planned to lead the project, start realizing your dream immediately. Develop a plan, contact the top management, explain the implementation methods and the benefits that the company will bring to the project developed by you.
