How not to lose work in a crisis
Good specialists are fired last. Make every effort to become a professional in your field and an indispensable employee for your company. Do all the work assigned to you in a quality manner, keep to the deadlines that you have been assigned to perform a particular volume. If you do not have time, it is rational to spend your free time, stay in the evening, but complete everything in due time. At the same time, do not demand that you pay for overtime. The global crisis is not the time to dictate terms.
Build a friendly relationship with colleagues and management. Conflict employees who argue with everyone on any occasion and without, are dismissed first. If you are executive, sociable, ready to help at any moment, always carry out all tasks efficiently and on time, the employer is unlikely to want to save on such valuable personnel.
Be always in sight. In large companies, where the number of employees exceeds 1,000, many employers sack employees who are least well known and valued accordingly. Take an active part not only in the implementation of projects, but also in the public life of the enterprise. Speak at general meetings and conferences, especially if the questions relate to future plans for the development of the company and strategic decisions that contribute to overcoming the financial crisis. To do this most rationally, if you have something to say, you have a lot of experience and can offer your effective ways.
Move up the career ladder. The crisis is the time for daring undertakings. If you have been planning to lead a project for a long time, start realizing your dream immediately. Develop a plan, refer to the top management, explain the ways of implementation and the benefits that the project you have developed will bring to the company.
