How not to fail an interview
Start preparing for a meeting with a potential employer in advance, take a shower, prepare a suit and shoes, pick up the necessary accessories. Your appearance should be respectable. Be sure to take with you all the necessary documents: a passport, diploma, work record. Print and take with you a resume, even if you have already sent it.
Sometimes employers go to the trick and at the very beginning of the interview ask you to tell a little about yourself. Therefore, it is worthwhile to think over the answer to such a tricky question. The text should not be too big. Start it from the date and place of your birth. Tell me where you were educated, mention additional courses if they were. More details on the work sites. First tell about the latter. Name the organization, the position in which you worked, the main achievements that you had there. Details need to talk only about the last 3-4 jobs. All the rest can only be mentioned.
As a rule, employers try not to hire people who are ready to do anything to get a position. Therefore, do not demonstrate too strongly your desire to work in this organization. If a person has not asked a single question about work, but is already ready to work, this leads to not very pleasant thoughts. Usually people with low self-esteem behave this way. Such employees are trying not to be hired. Be confident in yourself, ask questions about future activities, pay, team.
Do not lie about your previous work. After all, the head will not be difficult to call and inquire about your achievements. Answer questions about the service as truthfully and openly as possible. Do not hide information. Even if you are fired, report it.
During the interview, most of the time, look to the employer in person. Do not look away, this indicates that a person is hiding something. Do not hold closed poses. Hands folded on the chest, or crossed legs, too, will testify not in your favor.
Imagine yourself in the employer's place. Think about how you would like to see your future subordinate. Try to match the image that you got.
