How not to fall asleep at work
Get enough sleep so that you do not want to close your eyes at work and fall into a dream. If every night you have a full sleep, there will be strength for work in the afternoon. Sleep for at least eight hours and try to stay up until midnight. Observe the daily routine: go to bed and get up at about the same time, even on weekends.
Take breaks during the working day. A small rest is necessary for your body, even if you consider your work as tireless. Try to eat outside the workplace and go out for a little walk.
Change the activity. You can be overcome by a dream, if you have been doing painstaking, monotonous work for a long time. Try to take a break and do something else.
It is not necessary to process and extend your working day from eight hours to twelve. At some point your body can not stand and protests. If you are almost every day late in the service, or you are not coping with their duties, or you are shamelessly exploiting the leadership. Both cases are cause for concern.
Distract to some simple action. Take care of your work place, spread out the documents, pour flowers or just look out the window. Perhaps your body will switch and will start working in an updated mode.
Have a cup of fragrant coffee. This invigorating drink will allow your body to wake up. If you do not drink coffee or have drunk it in the morning, replace it with oranges or freshly squeezed juice from these sunny fruits.
Think about the forthcoming prize, calculate how much your plan is implemented, remember important outstanding cases or imagine your enraged boss who saw that you are sleeping at work. Perhaps, thoughts about your work duties and responsibilities or unwillingness to be punished will help you wake up.
Change boring, unpromising work for a new one - interesting and inspiring. In the position that you like, you do not want to yawn.
