How to stay awake at work
Get enough sleep so that you don’t have the desire to close your eyes and fall asleep at work. If you have full sleep every night, you will find strength to work during the day. Sleep at least eight hours and try to go to bed before midnight. Observe the mode of the day: go to bed and always get up at about the same time, even on weekends.
Take breaks during the work day. A little rest is necessary for your body, even if you think your work is not tiring. Try to eat lunch outside the workplace and go for a short walk.
Change your activity. You may be overcome by sleep if you have been doing hard, monotonous work for a long time. Try to take a break and do something else.
Do not recycle and extend your working day from eight to twelve. At some point, your body will not stand and will protest. If you are almost every day delayed in the service, or you can not cope with their duties, or you shamelessly exploited the leadership. Both cases are cause for concern.
Take a look at some simple steps. Clean up your workplace, spread out the documents, pour flowers or just look out the window. Perhaps your body will switch and start working in the updated mode.
Have a cup of aromatic coffee. This invigorating drink will allow your body to wake up. If you do not drink coffee or have already drunk it in the morning, replace it with oranges or fresh juice from this sunny fruit.
Think about the upcoming award, calculate how many percent your plan is fulfilled, think of important unfulfilled matters, or imagine your enraged boss who saw that you were sleeping at work. Perhaps thinking about your work debt and direct responsibilities or not wanting to be punished will help you wake up.
Change your boring, unpromising job to a new one - interesting and inspiring. In the position that you like, you do not want to yawn.
