How to write a resume
Usually, watching a summary is given two or three minutes, so it is important to be able to present information concisely, concretely, and concisely. Ideally, the text should occupy about one page of A4. Of course, often want to paint their dignity, but nobody will spend time to read long essays. Operates on the principle of selectivity: choose the right information for the resume depending on the purpose. For example, if you are applying to work in the commercial field, but have experience in scientific work, summarizing your scientific work and experience in this field would be superfluous.
The summary should be a few mandatory items. First, it is contact information. Write your surname, name, patronymic, date of birth, address, telephone and email. If you write a few phones, sign which one is working which home. You can also specify the time when you want to answer calls.
Be sure to write the exact purpose of the resume. It is not recommended to use a vague term such as "looking for a job that meets my skills and education" or "may consider various options." Specify the position you want to occupy. You can also write why you are interested in this position. Get it done in a few lines, ideally 2-3.
The following mandatory sections – education and experience. If you recently graduated from school or are a student, you primarily write about education, paying more attention to her: inform about available awards, diplomas, certificates, disciplines, knowledge of which can be used in your work. The more time passed after graduation or other educational institution, the less space must occupy a section on education.
Work experience – the main part of the summary. Here in reverse chronological order, i.e. starting with most recent job, list positions, names of organizations, dates, and specify job responsibilities and achievements. One should not overstate their professional dignity, just state the facts.
The last section summary – additional information. It may contain facts that do not fit the previous sections, but which you would like to specify. For example, it may be knowledge of foreign languages, skills of technicians, the level of computer skills, availability of driving experience. Write only about what is associated with a vacancy. It is not necessary to provide personal information: Hobbies, interests, facts of autobiography, if they are not related to work.
