How to apply for sick leave
In accordance with article 124 of the labour code section 15 during the regular holiday the employee is entitled to sick leave, extend the leave by the number of days specified in the certificate of incapacity, or to transfer the amount of vacation days for another time, as well as to social benefits for all days of the disease. But this right only appears if the employee is sick himself, and does not apply to sick leave for the care of children or family members.

If the employee received sick leave during annual leave, for the calculation of benefits for temporary incapacity for work and extension of leave, must notify the employer not later than the end of the next holiday.
If the employee wants to put vacation days for sick days at another time, you need to give a written notice to the employer for the issuance of the order, that the employee is recalled from annual leave. If the employee wishes to extend leave time, sick leave need to take on the enterprise. Special order on extended time-number of calendar days of sickness is not required.
In accordance with the labor laws vacation and can not renew and do not get the right to leisure for all calendar days of the disease, and instead to receive a cash payment. To obtain the monetary compensation you must notify your employer in writing.
If a sick leave is received during a leave without leave or study leave, then it is not payable and prolonging or postponing the days of vacation.

Payment for period of incapacity during annual leave shall be in accordance with the General rules. With a total work experience of 8 years – 100% of average earnings in 24 months, at the experience from 5 till 8 years – 80%, up to 5 years – 60%.
