How to apply for an e-mail
Business letters are usually written on letterhead. They must already have the requisites of the organization, therefore, even in an e-mail, all information about the company should be indicated.
A little below the details on the right side, you must specify the date of departure, and a month worth writing in letters (May 12, 2011). In international correspondence, the abbreviations we have adopted are not used (12.05.11). In the US, for example, first indicate the month, and then the number (May 12, 2011).
Below, on the left side, without making a new paragraph, write a polite address. In Russia, after an introductory address, an exclamation mark is often placed. In international practice, it is customary to put a comma.
On the next line after the treatment it is necessary to designate the subject of the letter. To do this, you can put "Re:" (English "in Reference to" - relatively, as to). For example, "Re: In response to your telex from May 18, 2011".
Ifletter is devoted to only one topic, it can be specified in the field, immediately after the email address. But if the correspondence is conducted immediately on several issues, it is better to designate them immediately after the appeal. Thus, it will be possible to break the letter into the appropriate number of blocks.
Increasingly popular is the so-called whole-block writing style. With a whole-block style, paragraphs do not begin with an indentation of 5 spaces, but are aligned to the left. If you want to clearly separate the paragraphs from each other, then each new paragraph begins after 3-4 spaces.
Finish the letter usually with a compliment. Mostly they use the compliment "Sincerely yours" ("Sincerely yours"). You can also limit yourself to kind wishes: "Best wishes to Mr.. "," With best wishes "," Accept my best wishes "(" My best regards "), etc.
