How to write a business letter
Use the official letterhead of the company to write business letters. Without dependence, whether it is madeletter on paper or in electronic form, it must have the logo of the sending company. Also on the form should be indicated the company's mailing address, phone numbers and fax numbers, e-mail address and website.
Leave the fields - on the left side three centimeters, with the right - one and a half centimeters. Fields are needed for filing a letter in an archive folder.
Stick to the official style of writing. Businessletter should be unambiguous and not allow for a few interpretations. In an email, you must specify the subject of the letter. Do not use emoticons in business correspondence.
In case this is the continuation of the correspondence, leaveletter. on which you write the answer, in the form of quoting. You can quoteletter not entirely, but only those fragments that you answer. So the opponent will understand the relationship between hisletter m and your answer.
Startletter with courteous treatment, for example: "Dear Pyotr Ivanovich!" The appeal is located in the center of the page. The name is written completely, the use of initials is unacceptable here.
After treatment should be an introductory part that briefly formulated the purpose of the letter. The next section of a business letter is the main part, where in more details the reasons of writing the letter, questions and their solutions. Completes letter summarizing and addressing the addressee with a specific proposal or statement of what exactly you expect from the addressee to resolve the issue.
Be correct in the final part. Do not make decisions for your recipients. It is better to express the hope that the problem will be solved in the best way in your opinion.
It is considered unethical to rush the addressee, using the words "urgently" and "immediately." Use the correct form: "I ask you to give an answer in such a time".
The signature in the business letter must be official. For example: "Sincerely, Sergey Vasilyevich Ivanov."
Indicate your position, company name and contact information in the signature. If the businessletter contains an application, before signing it should be an indication of this.
