How to get used to the new work
Try to accompany the exit to the new work with other positive changes. Make a new haircut, update your wardrobe, buy a few CDs with beautiful music, start doing light exercises in the morning and brew flavored coffee. Let other habits enter your life, because a change of work was probably connected with your desire to achieve excellent goals.
At work, be friendly and positive, even if so far you do not like everything. After a few months, you will look at the team completely differently: many of your colleagues around you will surely become good friends for you and will be excellent interlocutors. In addition, if new responsibilities seem complicated to you, remember that this is only temporary. Focus on the fact that you gain invaluable experience, mastering hitherto unfamiliar information.
Try to personalize your office space without overloading it with your own personal things. Put one frame with a photo, bring your cup, put a mini-bottle with your favorite perfume in the drawer. For all colleagues, buy a large set of different varieties of teas: this is the reason for small joint tea drinking and comparisons of taste characteristics.
At first, try to look at the team, understand who is in the lead, who makes the main decisions, who is especially irritable, who you can turn to. You should not immediately "bend your line" and show character. Act confidently, but delicately.
Try to quickly learn the unspoken rules that apply to your new job. If the chef is used to conducting a final evening meeting that delays you at work for 15 minutes, in most cases it is better to accept this, rather than run with complaints to the labor inspectorate.
