How to get used to a new job
Try to accompany the entrance to a new job with other positive changes. Make a new haircut, update the wardrobe, buy a few discs with beautiful music, start doing in the morning easy charging and cooking aromatic coffee. Let other habits enter your life, because the change of work was probably connected with your desire to achieve excellent goals.
At work, be friendly and positive, even if for now you do not like everything. In a few months you will look at the team in a completely different way: many of your colleagues around you will surely be good friends for you and will be excellent interlocutors. In addition, if new responsibilities seem complicated, remember that this is only temporary. Emphasize that you receive invaluable experience, mastering hitherto unknown information.
Try to personalize your office space without overloading it with your personal belongings. Put one frame with a photo, bring your cup, put in a drawer a mini-bottle with your favorite perfume. For all colleagues, buy a large selection of different types of teas: this is an occasion for small joint tea drinking and comparisons of taste characteristics.
At first try to look at the team, understand who is in the lead, who makes the basic decisions, who is particularly irritable, who can contact. Do not immediately "bend your line" and show character. Act confidently, but delicately.
Try to quickly master the unspoken rules that apply to your new job. If the boss is used to conducting the final evening meeting, which delays you at work for 15 minutes, in most cases it is better to take it, and not run with complaints to the labor inspectorate.
