How to wake up at work
The most active stimulant available is caffeine. Even if you prefer tea or mineral water to wake up, make yourself a cup of coffee. It is desirable that it is fresh and strong. If this is not found, drink instant, but without cream and sugar. You can add a pinch of cinnamon to coffee, it also awakens well. And for a snack to drink, eat a couple of slices of black chocolate or chocolate candy. These sweets can be kept in the desktop drawer in case you need to cheer up.
You need fresh air. If possible, go out for a couple of minutes outside or at least on the balcony. In extreme cases, open the window in the office and stand next to the window. The cooler there will be, the better for you. Stand, inhaling deeply through your nose and exhaling through your mouth. Along the way, do some simple gymnastics: moving your head left and right, back and forth. Blink your eyes often. Finally, take a deep breath and exhale sharply.
Hardly in the workplace you will be able to take a cool shower to wake up. But do not give up water, it is a very effective way to wake up. Wet your hands with cold water, not shaking it off your fingers, and rub your ears with quick movements. If the office is very hot, it may also slightly dampen some water and the top of the head. In the office, wait a little while the fan is on to increase the chill effect behind the ears, but do not overdo it, or else you will forgive.
If you can not leave the office, try to wake up the body with active movements in the workplace and near it. Stand up, bend down to get something from the lower drawers of the table, or drop the handle and lift it from the floor without squatting. Then take a watering can and pour all the flowers in the office. Sit on a chair, shake your head left and right, move your shoulders. Make yourself an acupressure: rub your temples with your index fingers and behind the ears, vigorously follow the brow line.
