How to wake up at work
The most active stimulant available is caffeine. Even if you prefer tea or mineral water to wake up, make yourself a cup of coffee. It is desirable that it is freshly brewed and strong. If this is not found, drink soluble, but without cream and sugar. You can add a pinch of cinnamon to your coffee, it also awakens well. And for a snack to a drink, eat a couple of slices of dark chocolate or a chocolate candy. These sweets can be kept in a desk drawer in case you need to cheer up.
You need an influx of fresh air. If possible, go for a couple of minutes to the street or at least to the balcony. In extreme cases, open the window in the office and stand next to the window. The cooler it will be, the better for you. Wait, deeply breathing through the nose and exhaling through the mouth. Along the way, do uncomplicated gymnastics: head movements left-right, back and forth. Often blink your eyes. Finally, inhale the air with a full chest and exhale sharply.
It's unlikely that in the workplace you will be able to take a cool shower to wake up. But do not give up water, this is a very effective way of awakening. Wet your hands with cold water, not shaking it off your fingers, and rub your ears with rapid movements. If the office is very hot, it can also slightly moisten the water and the top. In the office, stand a little while the fan is on, to enhance the effect of the chill behind your ears, but do not overdo it, or else you will get cold.
If you can not leave the office, try to awaken the body with active movements in the workplace and next to it. Stand up, bend over to get anything out of the bottom drawers of the table, or drop the handle and lift it off the floor without crouching. Then take a watering can and pour all the flowers in the cabinet. Sit on a chair, shake your head to the right and left, move your shoulders. Make yourself a point massage: rub the index fingers of the whiskey and the area behind the ears, vigorously draw along the line of growth of the eyebrows.
