How to analyze the work of the head
Now in many enterprises, the evaluation criteria production and economic activities of managers are the quality criteria formulated in the international standard ISO 9000. The main principle of activity of the head becomes the rule: "prescribe how to act and organize activities as prescribed". Of those 20 criteria, which are reglamentary ISO 9000, 7 associated with the notion of "management". This testifies to the importance attached to the work of each employee which exercises Executive functions.
The head of any level should be able to set goals, plan their actions for their implementation, to organize production, allocate production and wages. He has to deal not only with inanimate objects – raw materials, materials, production areas, tools and transport required for the production and delivery of products, but with real people – his subordinates.
A good Manager must ensure continuous process of production to his trusted site. Indicator of the quality of its activities may be the lack of downtime, security employees with all the necessary for the normal operation, timely delivery of raw materials and shipment of finished products. It should always be clear about the production situation and be able to make the right decisions in conditions of shortage of time and rapidly changing situations.
Professional activities head of assumes its constant interaction with other people – subordinates and management. It needs to clearly convey to its employees in management decisions, which come from the head of a higher level. In his functions include formulation of the problem so that subordinates clearly know and understand what is required of them and in what time frame needs to be solved the set task. It also needs to be able to encourage the implementation of tasks, using any of the existing Arsenal of techniques – authoritarian or democratic.
