How to conduct a discussion
The discussion requires the preliminary preparation of its organizers. Identify the problem field within which the discussion will take place. Having defined it, break it into abstracts, which will be submitted for general consideration. These abstracts can be presented on the board or handouts in the form of facts and questions. Visually obtained information is perceived better than that which we only hear.
You need to be well prepared in the theory of discussion questions in order not to get lost and feel like a leader. Be prepared to answer unexpected questions and comment on what was said during the discussion.

If children of primary and secondary school age are to take part in the discussion, actively use puppet theater. Finger dolls and toys on hand are sold in children's departments, and you can also make them yourself or order from the appropriate master. Prepare audio and video recordings, illustrations and examples from everyday life, reflecting the subject of discussion.
At the beginning of the discussion you should read the rules of its conduct:
- if you want to say something, wait until the previous speaker speaks out;
- politeness and respect for all participants;
- discussing, it is forbidden to become personal to those present;
- if someone does not want to continue the topic of discussion, he can say about it;
- if the discussion concerns intragroup issues, then it makes sense to specify the confidentiality of the topics affected and decisions made.
If necessary, you can add your own rules.
The organizer of the discussion should be able to ask leading questions, to some extent provoke the participants, that is, encourage active discussion and summarize what was said. After a discussion of each thesis, it would be good to write the conclusions obtained on the board.
At the end of the discussion, summarize the meeting and tell if it was possible to achieve the goals. Those present can also comment on this.
