How to conduct a discussion
The discussion requires preliminary preparation of its organizers. Identify the problem field in which the discussion will take place. Determined, break it into the theses, which will be put on public scrutiny. These theses can be presented on the blackboard or the handout in the form of facts and questions. Visually received information is perceived better than the one we just hear.
You need to be well prepared in the theory of discussion issues, so as not to get lost and feel like a leader. Be prepared to respond to unexpected questions and comment on what the participants said during the discussion.

If the discussion should involve children of junior and middle school age, actively use the puppet theater. Prepare audio recordings, videos, illustrations and examples from everyday life, reflecting the subject of the discussion.
In the beginning of the discussion, it is worth reading out the rules for conducting it:
- if you want to say something, wait until the previous speaker speaks;
- courtesy and respect for all participants;
- when discussing, it is forbidden to transfer to the persons present;
- if someone does not want to continue the topic of the discussion, he can say so;
- if the discussion concerns intra-group issues, it makes sense to specify the confidentiality of the topics discussed and the decisions made.
If necessary, you can add your own rules.
The organizer of the discussion should be able to ask leading questions, to some degree provoke the participants, that is, to encourage active discussion and summarize what has been said. It would be good to write conclusions after discussion of each thesis on the blackboard.
