How to conduct training at work
Define the goals and objectives of the training: what skills you need to develop employees what is training and what knowledge needs to the participants during the event. The curriculum may be based on internal research competence of employees, personnel certification, customer feedback, observations of leadership.
Decide on a budget. If money allows, you can invite an outside specialist, selecting a training company or a trainer of a sufficiently large number of market offerings. When the budget is tight, conduct the training program on their own, placing the process at the competent officer or the HR Manager.
Ask the coach in advance to talk about the training program. It is important to determine how you will evaluate the effectiveness of the event. It is necessary to define several criteria by which you will be able to understand the result. You can tell the teacher their wishes to the process and the results of the training. If necessary, adjust the program of the master class or event.
Determine the time and place of the training. The optimal duration for a training event onwork - one day. It will be better if the training is not held on weekends, since it can cause negative staff in advance and affect the effectiveness of the process.
For training it is important to choose the room where all the participants will be able to fit easily and will feel comfortable. It is desirable that the room had a blackboard or flipchart where you can write with marker and erase the unnecessary. Conduct training, starting with its rules. Then follows a theoretical part, followed by practical. It is desirable to introduce participants to role-play, work in pairs, team exercises, to develop a theme and to enable staff to acquire and practice necessary skills.
Collect feedback on the event from the staff at the end of the training. It is important that participants do not write monosyllabically, but disclose the topic, telling about what knowledge and skills they have acquired.
Analyze the reviews. Talk to the teacher to learn more about the staff. These data will help you plan further training andtrainings in company.
