How to train in the workplace
To organize such work at the enterprise, a labor safety standard is developed and approved. In it, to the smallest detail, the order, the periodicity of thebriefings. responsible persons were appointed. In addition, labor safety instructions are developed and approved for types of work (for all major professions), a summary of the primary and introductorybriefings. It is these documents that are basic when instructing employees.
Instructions on labor protection forworkingplace will be distinguished from the total number by the fact that they are conducted by the direct supervisor (foreman, mechanic, foreman, etc.) in the workshop, section, laboratory, etc. There are primary, target, repeated and unscheduled briefings onworkingplace .
Initial briefing is conducted on the first working day before the employee is allowed to work independently. It is mandatory for all persons admitted to the enterprise, regardless of the conditions (temporarily, for the season, for practice, etc.), or transferred from one structural unit to another.
Instruction is conducted by the head of the workshop, site, etc. In the form of a conversation, the employee is explained in detail the basic requirements of labor protection: the specifics of work, safe working methods, routes of passage, requirements for overalls and special footwear, etc. It is recommended to use a summary of the initial briefing. To make sure that the topic is learned by the employee, he is asked questions.
The results of the briefing are recorded in the journal of the established form, where the instructor and the instructor put their signatures. As a rule, after conducting the briefing, the employee is assigned to an experienced worker for an internship. Its goal is to gain the skills of safe production. The number of days (shifts) of internship depends on the profession, its health risks, both the worker himself and others. If the work is not associated with increased security requirements, the internship may not be appointed. To do this, the company must have an approved list of occupations whose admission to independent work is done without an internship.
Repeated briefing is usually held once a quarter (but at least once every six months) in order to consolidate the acquired knowledge on occupational safety and health. It is carried out according to the approved instruction for this work or profession. The result is also recorded in the journal, the signatures of each employee and head of the department are mandatory.
The reason for the unscheduled briefing can be a change in the technological process, the receipt of new equipment, the introduction of new rules, instructions, and cases of injuries to workers. In the "briefing content" column, you should indicate the reason that caused it. It can be a reference to the passport of new equipment, the number and date of the regulatory document, instructions, telegrams about injuries, etc.
Another kind is targeted training. It is carried out before the performance of the task associated with increased danger (for example, with access to the railroad tracks). It is conducted by a foreman, a replacement foreman. If employees of another structural subdivision are involved in the work, then only the head (workshop master, site manager, mechanic, etc.) will target the training.
