# How to calculate the rate of production

For mass and large-scale production, characterized by taking into account the labor of special workers employed in preparatory and final works, the time standard for the production of a unit of production is equal to the rate of piece-calculation time. For piece, serial and small-scale production, when the same worker performs the main, preparatory and final work, these time standards will be different.

When calculating the rate of production, expressing the necessary result of the activities of workers, natural indicators are used: pieces, meters, kilograms. The output rate (Nwyr) is the quotient of dividing the duration of one work shift (Wsm) by the time it takes to manufacture a unit of production (Pw). For mass production, the output rate will be equal to:

Nvyr = Vsm / Vstr.

If the production is serial or unit, then as the divisor in the above formula is used the value of PSTC - the rate of time determined by the method of calculation when calculating the unit cost of production. In this case, the rate of production is calculated by the formula:

Nwyr = Wsm / vshk.

In those industries where the preparatory stage is calculated and normalized separately for each work shift, the output rate should be calculated by the formula:

Nvyr = (Vsm - Vpz) / Tsm, where Vpz - the time spent on the preparatory and final work.

The formula for calculating the rate of output in cases of using automated and instrumentation equipment will be somewhat different:

Nwyr = But * Nvm, where But is the service rate, Nvm is the equipment output rate, which is equal to:

Nvm = Nvm theory * Kpv. Here Hvm theory is the theoretical output rate of the equipment used, Kpv is the coefficient of useful time for one shift.

In the case of using periodic instrumental processes, the rate of output is equal to:

Nvyr = (Vsm - Vob - V ex) * VP * But / Vop, where V ob is the time spent on equipment maintenance, Votl is the standard time for personal needs of the staff, VP is the products manufactured in one period, Vop is the duration of this period .

Pricing (P) can be calculated by the formulas:

Р = С / Нвыр, or

Р = Вшт * С, where С is the rate of this category of works.
