How to solve problems at work
First, develop a system for ranking tasks by level of importance. When you receive a task, take it as a rule to immediately determine its importance: primary, high, ordinary. To carry out the primary tasks proceed immediately, the rest can be postponed, but be sure to set a deadline for their implementation. If you keep a calendar of tasks in the mail, then there is still simple. You can, for example, set reminders or mark tasks with multi-colored flags.
Any task, ranging from complex to the simplest, can be divided into subtasks. Then the decision will be given easier. Finishing any stage of the task, show the achieved results to the management. Ask if you are moving in the right direction, perhaps the course should be changed. If you set yourself the task and you don’t need to consult with the management, the simpler it is. But do not forget about self-control and timing - these are the two most important components that determine the success of solving work tasks.
If the task is so complex that it requires the involvement of employees of other specialties, do not hesitate to talk to the management about this. You should not take on the task to cope with which you definitely can not on their own. It is better to competently argue the authorities why you think that you may need the help of other employees.
