Limit the time spent on the Internet
Install a special application that allows you to track time spent online and restrict access to some sites (this will allow you to spend less on social networks). The Internet itself is not bad, but people generally just spend more time on aimless movement between sites, not in search of useful information.
Access emails only once
Get rid of the habit to re-read emails that doesn't make any sense. Better after the first reading immediately adopt a decision concerning the issues raised in the letter, and don't come back to this in the future.
Follow the three minute rule
It says that if an action takes us less than three minutes, it must be done immediately. Surprisingly, many people add such things to their calendar instead of dealing with them right away.
Stop attending unimportant meetings
Every meeting should make sense. If the topic of the meeting does not match your work, it is better to abandon it. Of course, we are talking here about business meetings, and not about personal ones.
In addition to promoting discipline, such a schedule will give you the opportunity to refuse to meet unimportant meetings without any problems.
Encourage the “do not finish” habit
There are things that are not worth it, to end it. As soon as you realize that in front of you as if that's the case, put it aside and move on to something more important. Do not waste time on nonsense. Such things should not cause you guilt for what you something is not finished — it is the right and necessary decision.
At the end of the week, review what you have achieved over the previous week, and plan the next one. This approach always allows you to keep your finger on the pulse and control your life.
