How to create an electronic resume
Keep in mind that in large companies and agencies, electronic resumes often undergo primary processing through special programs that filter out unnecessary ones, analyzing keywords, work experience and age. It will be useful to take an interest in the selection parameters and be guided by them.
Type a resume in a standard, easily readable font, such as Arial, with a minimum of 10. Do not use special and specific characters - they may not be supported by the PC software of the personnel manager. Do not archive the resume file - it’s not a fact that your letter can be unzipped and read in a foreign computer.
Write a cover letter. Avoid unnecessary and flowery expressions, write simply and succinctly, for example: “Dear manager! I pretend to the position of lead manager. The summary is attached. Sincerely, Sergey Ivanov ". It is a mistake to send a resume without a cover letter - such attachments are often not even considered.
Before submitting your resume, make sure that you have entered all the necessary information about yourself and indicated the position you are applying for. A resume is not an essay, its style should be extremely short and to the point. Clearly list all relevant data, highlighting a few key points. Selection of subtitles and sections is also welcome, but do not overdo it with different styles.
Check your resume for literacy, at least with the help of Microsoft Word. The presence of spelling and punctuation errors will not contribute to the image of a business, erudite, efficient person.
Before sending an electronic resume to a potential employer, make a test send to a home or some other mailbox and make sure that the text is opened and read.
