How to draw up a work schedule

In round-the-clock establishments for line employees, a timetable is used that separates all staff for shifts. As a rule, even here, without a 2/2 scheme, it does not do. Usually choose one of two options: • 2 days a day, 2 days off, 2 days a night, 2 days off, etc. • 1 - at night, 1 - day, 2 days off, etc. The first scheme is considered to be the most effective, since the employee has enough time for rest and recovery. In the second case, the first day off after a working night is spent on sleep. In fact, the employee rests fully only the second day, and the third - is already onthe work and the cycle is repeated. However, this variant of the schedule is most convenient for students combiningthe work with studies on full-time or evening department.
If a 24-hour institution has the opportunity to split staff into 7 shifts, and the majority of people in connection with the characteristics of the activity should be present at work at night, then you can use the scheme 5/2. It looks like this: 2 nights (from 21:00 to 8:00), evening (from 18:00 to 22:00), day (from 16:00 to 22:00), morning (from 8:00 to 16: 00). Thus, each employee fulfills the legal requirements of 40 hours a week, with two shifts at night simultaneously.
Also, it is possible to schedule a day in two, and with enough personnel, you can organize through three. This option is used mainly in the field of protection. But if you plan to use it, you should not forget about the put hours of rest inside the shift, which are established by law. Therefore at least one "superfluous" person on change all the same should be present.
