How to make a schedule for going to work

In companies that have a long working day in excess of 8-9 hours, it is better to use the "sliding" schedule with floating weekends. The most popular options are 2/2 or 3/3. Sometimes, however, it also occurs a week after a week, but such a format is used in a few enterprises, since labor productivity drops to 5-6 days due to accumulated fatigue among workers. For the successful implementation of the above schemes, it is necessary that the number of employees in the enterprise be equal to an even number, if there is a need for the person to be constantly in his area.
In round-the-clock establishments for line employees, a work schedule is applied that divides all personnel into shifts. As a rule, even without a 2/2 scheme, it is not complete. Usually choose one of two options: • 2 days a day, 2 days off, 2 days a night, 2 days off, etc. • 1 - on the night, 1 - on the day, 2 days off, etc. The first scheme is considered the most effective, since the employee has enough time to rest and recuperate. In the second case, the first day off after a working night is spent on sleep. In fact, the employee rests fully only the second day, and on the third - is already onthe job and the cycle repeats. However, this kind of graphics is most convenient for students who combinethe job with study on full-time or evening department.
If there is an opportunity to split the staff into 7 shifts in a 24-hour establishment, and the majority of people due to the peculiarities of the activity must be present at night, then you can use the 5/2 scheme. It looks like this: 2 nights (from 21:00 to 8:00), evening (from 18:00 to 22:00), day (from 16:00 to 22:00), morning (from 8:00 to 16: 00). Thus, each employee fulfills the required 40 hours per week, while at the same time 2 shifts are released at night.
It is also possible to schedule a day after two, and with enough staff you can organize after three. This option is used mainly in the field of protection. But if you plan to use it, then you should not forget about the prescribed hours of rest inside the shift, which are established by law. Therefore, at least one “extra” person must still be present at the shift.
