How to make the organizational structure of the enterprise
When composing an optimal organizational structure you must take into account the goal that put to your enterprise, objectives that it will achieve, and take into account external factors affecting its activities. This will ensure effective interaction with the external environment. Effective structuring will allow to optimise the efforts of staff to meet the demands and needs of your customers, achieve their goals. At the initial stage you will need to perform the activities of the company.
All the workers and processes that are necessary for the normal operation of enterprises to break into separate blocks. Highlight those departments that are traditional: accounting, HR, office, commercial and legal Department. Those units which operate in a closed process cycle, select the structure in separate units in accordance with the nature of production tasks they will perform.
Consider the existence of horizontal relations between departments. Determine which of them will interact with each other and consider the nature of this interaction. If you are a producer of goods or other production, the traditional form of interaction is direct production — sales or marketing – financial accounting.
Determine the staffing of each unit and install vertical linkages between functions, hierarchical subordination. It is necessary for the implementation of process management and coordination each business unit.
Install vertical linkages through which the user will coordinate and manage the processes of production, operation of the entire enterprise. Reflect the chain of command by which decisions will be reported to the immediate perpetrators from the top down.
Assign heads of departments, define each responsibilities and area of responsibility. However, note that the same question should be solved by one unit, not several. Only the head unit needs to carry out control functions. The decision of any questions must be referred to that division which, by virtue of its functions and responsibilities, cope with them better than others.
