How to become a club administrator
The post of administrator can be claimed by people who already worked in the catering system, as well as those who never crossed the threshold of office premises of clubs and restaurants. Personal qualities are much more important. The future administrator should have organizational skills, stress resistance, and attentiveness in work. In addition, it requires activity, initiative and high performance.
Create a resume. Imagine a portrait of an ideal administrator and try to fit your work biography into this image. If you worked with people, have experience of organizational work, be sure to indicate this. In the list of personal qualities, note the non-conflict, the ability to unite the team, leadership skills, communication skills and creativity. Attach a photo - so you favorably highlight your resume.
Contact a recruitment agency, regularly look for jobs that are published on job sites and in newspaper ads. If you do not have work experience, do not be too capricious and demanding in your choice. Agree to the offer, even if you do not consider it ideal. You need experience and communication. Having earned them, you can find a more profitable and interesting vacancy.
Take care of your appearance. The club administrator should look neat, but do not be too similar to an office worker. Dosed creativity in clothes, moderate make-up and manicure, overall grooming - this is an image that will please the employer and make a proper impression on the staff and guests of the club.
At the interview, keep yourself confident. The administrator must make decisions independently and quickly navigate the situation. Do not argue with the employer, but try to demonstrate the originality of thinking and defend your own point of view. The future director must understand that he can rely on you.
Tune in to work associated with ongoing monitoring and conflict resolution. The administrator must come to the rescue in critical cases and be able to solve them as tactfully as possible. Please note that the shortcomings of the work of the staff will also be your problem. If you are not satisfied with the work associated with persistent stress, it is better to look for yourself in another profession.
Learn the terms of future work. Many clubs assume an internship - a time when you work under the guidance of a more experienced employee, not getting paid. It is desirable that the internship period does not exceed a month. Be sure to conclude an employment contract with an exact list of your rights and responsibilities - it will facilitate the resolution of possible labor disputes with the employer.
