How to retire
Specify in advance at what age you can retire. To implement this by law, reaching the age of 60 years (men) or 55 years (women), you must have at least 5 years of work experience. There are certain exceptions, for example, if you have to work in hazardous or physically demanding forms of production. In these and some other cases, you will be able to retire earlier, in accordance with Russian legislation or the requirements specified in your employment contract. If you have worked for less than five years, you still have the right to receive a special social pension.
Start collecting the necessary documents. The employer must give you a certified copy of your work record or the document itself. It depends on whether you plan to retire from work in the future. At the request of the employee can continue to work, even becoming a pensioner. Also get a certificate of your salary for five years of your work. It is not necessary to take into account the latter, you can choose those years during which you, for example, received the highest salary. In addition, for a pension you will need a passport with the residence permit indicated in it.
Take all the documents to the Department of the Pension Fund of Russia at your place of residence. The location of the nearest branch can be found through the organization’s website. Please note that in some organizations, the personnel officer transfers documents to the Pension Fund. If you are applying for retirement yourself, write an application on one of the samples that you will receive in the department. As soon as the FIU reviews your application, you can get a pension certificate to choose a method of receiving money - by mail, to a bank account or home delivery.
