How to retire
Check in advance at what age you will be able to retire. To implement it by law, having reached the age of 60 (men) or 55 years (women), you must have at least 5 years of working experience. There are also certain exceptions, for example, if you have to work on dangerous or physically difficult types of production. In these and some other cases, you will be able to retire earlier, according to Russian law or the requirements specified in your employment contract. If you have worked less than five years, you still have the right to receive a special social pension.
Begin collecting the necessary documents. The employer must give you a certified copy of the workbook or the document itself. It depends on whether you plan to retire from work later. If desired, the employee can continue working, even becoming a pensioner. Also get a certificate of your salary for five years of your work. It is not necessary to take into account the last, you can choose those years during which, for example, you received the highest salary. In addition, to apply for a pension you will need a passport with the registration indicated in it.
Take all the documents to the Pension Fund of Russia at your place of residence. The location of the nearest branch can be found through the organization's website. Please note that in some organizations, a special personnel officer transfers documents to the Pension Fund. If you are retiring yourself, write an application for one of the samples that you will be provided at the office. Once the FIU has reviewed your application, you will be able to obtain a pension certificate to choose how to receive the money - by mail, to a bank account or home delivery.
