How to get a job in the traffic police
Today in the Ministry of Internal Affairs there is a problem of incomplete staffing. First of all, this is connected with mass cuts during the reform of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, initiated by Dmitry Medvedev. According to statistics published on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the most acute shortage of employees is felt in the State Traffic Police Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation (STSI).
In this regard, from 2014 in the regional offices of the traffic police is actively attracting new employees to officer positions.
In this regard, I decided to tell you how to get a job / job in the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate (traffic police, traffic police).
- - age from 18 to 35 years;
- - red military ID;
- - Diploma of higher legal or technical education;
- - excellent physical fitness and health.
- - the absence of fines for administrative offenses during the year prior to contacting the personnel department;
- - driver's license category “B”, preferably “C”;
- - absence of criminal convictions of the candidate and his relatives.
Management of traffic police practically does not publish vacant positions, but this does not mean that they are absent. I recommend to call the Traffic Police Department or the regional unit in your subject and find out the telephone number of the personnel department. By calling the personnel department you will find out about vacancies and employment opportunities.
If there are vacancies, then find out the days and hours of the personnel department. I also recommend to ask about the specifics of posts. They are civilian and officer. If the vacant position is civil and it suits you, then you can forget about the "epaulets". Shoulder straps and titles will be received only by applicants for officer positions in the event of employment.
Appear in the personnel department with a package of documents: passport, red military ID, driver's license, autobiography. If there are positive characteristics from the place of study, military unit, place of former work, be sure to take them with you. If you have succeeded in sports, then grab a bit book with you. I also recommend getting a positive response from your precinct.
Then you will be sent for medical examination. Do not worry, this examination is completely similar to the military-medical commission that you had before serving in the army. But in order not to waste time on passing, I recommend to visit your dentist and ENT specialist in advance to eliminate minor “problems”.
You also need to be tested for professional fitness. Please do not worry and answer honestly. The Ministry of Internal Affairs employs professional psychologies, which, if in doubt about your candidacy, send you to a polygraph. From personal experience I will say: questions on a polygraph of a personal, sometimes intimate nature. Fills up the polygraph every third.
If you have received approval from all doctors and psychologists, then you can assume that half the work has been done. Now wait for a call from the personnel department with an invitation to a sports base to test your fitness.
The standards for the level of physical training of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs can be found on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Frankly, these are school standards for 11th grade students, but people who have served in the army and studied for 5 years at the university cannot fulfill them. With me, the 3rd candidates could not pull themselves up twice.
After passing the standards of physical training, you will pass a 3-month paid internship. If you have successfully completed an internship, then you can be congratulated, Comrade Lieutenant!
