How to quit one day
Remember that, according to the law, you are obliged to work another 14 days, if the authorities insist on it. During this time, the employer must find a replacement for you, and you, in turn, will transfer your duties to another person or a new employee. Try to talk with the management and explain the reason why you need to immediately leave the place of work. If you have a good relationship with your boss, he may go forward and not leave you to work. Try also to speed up the search for your replacement - submit an application, recommend management to your acquaintances who are looking for work, arrange with your colleagues about temporary transfer of your duties to them, etc.
Use some tricks that the law provides, if the authorities do not want to let you go ahead of time. Immediately after submitting your application, go to the hospital, and then you can not appear at work for the time you need. At the same time, these days will still be considered “spent”. Alternatively, write a letter of resignation on a regular vacation or at your own expense. However, in this case, the date of dismissal should be the first working day after the end of the vacation.
Refer to other amendments to the labor law, providing for the opportunity not to stay at work for an extra two weeks. Consider whether all the conditions of the employment contract complied with the authorities during your work. For example, in case of delayed payment, violation of work regulations, etc. You may write a letter of resignation indicating the reasons given. In this case, you will be able to quit your job on the day of the dismissal if management considers your complaints to be valid.
Try to stop working for two weeks due to an emergency situation, for example, an urgent move to another city, a relative's illness, admission to study or retirement. The management can go to a meeting and meet with you on certain conditions.
