How to choose the first job
First you need to decide on the area where you would like to develop. Do not worry if your professional dream is still very far from you. Look for a job that is at least indirectly related to your dream. Understand that it is important to take active steps towards the goal now, rather than wait for the case.
In our country, it so happened that the sooner a person starts working, the better. The working environment teaches you practical knowledge in contrast to the theoretical knowledge of the university in general. So, if possible, start looking for something from the first training courses. Let only for the summer.
However, remember that too frequent steps on the career ladder can damage this staircase. In this regard, try to immediately choose one company in which you see your professional development.
On the other hand, employers do not neglect human knowledge. Do not reject offers, where the company itself provides training conditions for employees and encourages their aspirations for learning.
When you look for a company, take into account one more rule - do not particularly fall for companies with a known name. Let you then in the summary will be this big name, however, it does not provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills.
As for the new projects, our employers have long introduced the practice of taking young graduates of higher educational institutions to their homes without work experience. This is very convenient - almost free enthusiasm still did not interfere with anyone (you do not have any work experience). Everything new is, of course, very exciting, you expect to track the development of the project from start to finish. But not many hold out until this triumphant conclusion. As a rule, the employee has material claims to the management, which are usually resolved by the dismissal of an employee - young projects have not yet accumulated enough funds. Moreover, at such work you can hardly get a lot of experience from others. It is always important to approach the first job seriously and responsibly, and not to use the principle "if only it were."
