In the months in which there are many holidays, such as January and May, the amount of vacation will be less. This is due to the fact that according to the Labor Code holidays are not included in the vacation and, accordingly, are not paid. But you can rest with them much longer. It is much more profitable to take a vacation in the summer months - July and August. If you choose another period, then do not forget to be guided by the production calendar.
Is it worth it to break the vacation into parts
Ordinary Russian leave is 28 days. The Labor Code establishes a mandatory part of it for at least 14 calendar days. The employee can take the remaining two weeks at his discretion - even on days, if the bosses do not mind. It should, however, be noted that it is unprofitable to divide the vacation into parts. Weekend, adjacent to the five working days, which go to the account of leave, are not paid. If you take the whole week, then the financial reward is provided for Saturday with Sunday.
The amount of vacation depends on income. Days of rest are paid in the amount of average earnings. And it is considered to be the addition of the salary and bonuses accrued for the year, divided into 12 months and another 29.4 months for the average monthly number of calendar days, provided that the entire month has been fully worked out (without sick leave and holidays). The resulting number is the average earnings for one day, it is multiplied by the number of days of rest. So the amount of vacation is displayed. Based on these calculations, to go on vacation is more profitable after the payment of bonuses and all sorts of stimulating surcharges.
