First of all, decide what is more important for you: more free days or the material side of the issue, that is, good vacation. On this depends in what month and from which day it is better to rest.
The right to the first paid leave arises after 6 months of continuous work in the enterprise. Its total duration is 28 calendar days. You can take it in whole or in parts, one of which must be at least 14 days.
The remaining days use at your discretion and in any quantity depending on your needs for rest. You can go in a non-standard way: after spending the first 14 days off, register for each of the remaining days an application for a vacation, ask the employer for 1 time off, and you will receive 3 weeks of adequate rest. However, keep in mind that the personnel department and accounts department are unlikely to be happy with this development of events, since their workflow on your holiday will increase many times.
Please note that non-working holidays are not included in the calendar days of vacation, so they can be traced later or calculate the beginning and end of the rest with their account.
Going on vacation for 14 days, write an application on Monday, and your vacation will begin on the evening of the previous Friday. If you have already gone for 2 weeks and want to use the rest of the vacation, you can start it from Monday to Friday next week. Thus, you will spend 12 days relying on you, in fact you will rest 16, and in addition, leave 2 days in reserve.
It is very convenient to take short-term vacation for 4-5 days in May holidays. Apply for work days for the period from 1 to 9 May, take into account the weekend transfers, and you will receive 10-11 days off. Under the same scheme, you can act on other holidays, attaching it to a long weekend.
If you are interested in good cash payments, take a vacation, starting from Saturday and ending with Sunday: weekend days are included in the calculation of vacation.
With loyal management of the company employees can rest for 28 days continuously. Take this opportunity if your employer allows you to take vacation entirely. But remember: when going on vacation, you get money for its entire duration, and in the next you can count only on payments for the actually worked number of days, which in this case can be from 1 to 3.
