Tip 1: How to calculate vacation in working days
Standard situation, when an employee takes 14 days of vacation (has the right to take all 28, but in practice more often: two times a year for half), and they do not fall on state holidays.
Fourteen days is two weeks, a standard week consists of five working days and two days off.
Thus, at the time of rest will have a total of 10 working days.
There may be situations where for a week, coinciding with the vacation, will have the transfer of the day. For example, a public holiday fell on a Tuesday or Thursday, and the government decided to give citizens rest on Monday or Friday, and to compensate it by working out on Saturday.
If the employee manages to take a vacation just at this time, will have full right not to appear at work for 11 days.
Finally, the vacation can come and holidays. They are considered non-working days, but holidays are not included. However, in this case, the number working days will remain unchanged: 10 two weeks plus or minus one or two, taking into account possible shifts.
