Tip 1: How to draw up a production instruction
Reflect the safety requirements in the main part of the document, before describing the work. Here, references to existing occupational health and safety regulations, sanitary norms and regulations can be indicated, or the text of specific requirements can be compiled. Here also specify the personal protective equipment, safety requirements for components, assembly units and materials.
Describe the technological sequence of performing actions, operations. Processes describe simple phrases denoting the action on the object, accompanied by specifying the parameters (if necessary). Write down information about the required technological mode, i.e. parameters of temperature, pressure, power, etc. required during the operation.
Indicate what equipment is involved in the process. The names of devices, tools and measuring instruments should be indicated in accordance with the technological documentation for them. By assigning the alphabetic code to tools and devices, you can shorten the text of the description of operations.
Describe the operation of the equipment in the form of a list or sequence of actions of personnel serving it. There may be clauses about the duties of personnel during the preparation of equipment for work, during its operation, breakdown and emergency situations, and also on completion of work on equipment. In addition, it is necessary to state the responsibility of personnel when servicing the mechanisms and working on them.
Break the big text into sections and subsections. Paragraphs and sub-paragraphs. Bring tables or graphic illustrations, if necessary.
On the first sheet of instruction indicate its name (above), the industry to which the production relates. Below on the right there should be a signature about the statement of the instruction, the position and date of the approver. Next, place the main text of the instruction, which, if necessary, carry over to subsequent pages. On the right and below, in a separate field, specify the composition of its executors and the name, developer and controller name.
