Tip 1: How to become a teacher
In order to become a primary school teacher, it is enough to enroll in the pedagogical school after the 9th grade of school and successfully complete it. To teach in high school, one school will not be enough - you will need a higher pedagogical education. For the most part, teachers who teach in schools and kindergartens have a specialized specialized education. The easiest way to get pedagogical education is a pedagogical institute, but, fortunately, this path is not the only one. Having graduated from any higher education institution, the graduate has the right to teach in other educational institutions with 1-3 accreditation levels. For example, a programmer may well go to work as an informatics teacher at school.
If you do not just want to become a teacher in school, but strive to teach at a university, you will have to complete a master's degree. There are cases when teaching does not require any academic degree or diploma of prestigious universities - you just need to thoroughly master the subject that you would like to teach. Often, as students, some experts earn extra money by tutoring, helping students or classmates who are lagging behind in certain subjects from the general course. There can be anything you want - mathematics, chemistry, physics, foreign languages, it all depends on your preferences and skills. As you achieve success in your chosen field, a part-time job can grow into a core profession — after all, each new student helps you gain valuable experience, improve, and master modern teaching methods. In the future, it can also help you when you enroll in any prestigious specialized courses.
You can go the other way - to become a business coach. It is quite simple to do this - you just need to strive to expand your professional capabilities, as well as acquire additional skills and not be afraid to test your strength in the new field. Often, business coaches become employees whom management has instructed to share the secrets of their successful work in the company with their colleagues. Sometimes it is this kind of activity that eventually becomes their main role.
Any teacher wants to be gooda teacher. The key moment in the modern concept of education is an appeal to the personality of the student and also the teacher, who should manage the activity at the level of high professionalism.
Cultivate the love of children. All of them, including those who study poorly and do not try to be active in class, deserve your sympathy.
Develop your ability to speech communication. Try to penetrate into the inner world of the student, form an appropriate outlook for him. At a certain point, you can understand the motives of his behavior and understand his mental state.
Contact your students more often. Say a request- "encouragement", call for joint learning activities. Confirm and your presence in the learning process. For example, phrases such as: “let's fantasize,” “now imagine that”, “you probably remember,” etc. A good teacher needs to learn how to master his speech. Pay attention to how you speak with your voice, how correctly and in time you make pauses in speech. Put the correct logical stress in phrases. Record your speech in class on the recorder and then listen. Keep in mind that students are very sensitive to intonational subtleties. Diversify your speech, make it emotional and imaginative.
Develop professional knowledge in the subject. It is not enough to know the discipline and master the various teaching methods. Continue to cultivate. Do not forget that the teacher must be a multifaceted, comprehensively developed personality. Enrich your knowledge base and try to more creatively convey to students the richness of the culture of humanity.
Develop pedagogical artistry. During the lesson, widely use various kinetic means: facial expressions, gestures, pantomime. These funds are perceived by students visually and carry up to 40% of the information. Use kinetic techniques only when you feel the need for them, since excessive gesticulation will only reduce the quality of speech perception.
The fruitfulness of learning activities depends on the degree of motivation of students. Get students interested in your subject. If your requirements are not met, show tolerance and restraint. A good teacher has the ability to relieve mental tension. The teacher should see everything that happens in the classroom, but you need to respond not all. Remember that requests made in a firm tone are much more eager than fulfilled. Be tactful and treat students as adult, respected people. If possible, avoid accusations and threats, reduce the number of comments addressed to students. Your democratic attitude towards students will create a favorable atmosphere in the lesson, many will have a state of calm satisfaction at work. An effective teacher will begin the lesson with a vivid, memorable story or an unusual fact that will attract the attention of students and arouse their keen interest. Use creative imagination, often improvise.
