Tip 1: How to quit beautifully
The activities of servicemen are strictly subordinated to the laws and military regulations, therefore, it has its own peculiarities of resignation and other procedures. In the service under the contract, servicemen can retire on the length of service, the expiry of the contract or for a good reason.
According to the established legislation, a serviceman has the right to retire into the reserve and receive a retirement pension upon reaching the age of 40 years. However, in the case of contractual services, it may be different, so find out in advance the full term of your service, as well as all the rights granted. In extreme cases, if you have extraordinary circumstances, you can quit your service before the deadline. It is strictly forbidden to deceive the command, otherwise you will be held criminally liable.
The first of the main reasons why a soldier has the right to early retirement is the inability to support a family. In this case, the military commission should consider the current subsistence level in the region where your family lives, and if the relatives really need serious support, your application for care will be granted.
Another possible reason for early dismissal is the death of a close relative. In this case, again, it is important that it interferes with your service and requires an early return to the place of registration. The following reasons for termination of service are again correlated with the current state of your family, for example, during the pregnancy of a serviceman's wife and the need to care for her, raising a child without a second parent, etc.
Write a report to your command, indicating the reason for the dismissal. Wait for the signing of the document and its consideration by the attestation commission, which has the right to perform this within six months, depending on the queue of applications. After that, you will be notified of the final decision, and if it is positive, you will receive permission for dismissal, as well as all reimbursements due at that time.
