Tip 1: How to register with the employment center
If you are discharged from an enterprise to reduce staff, then you need to register for the first fourteen days. This will allow you to receive additional material assistance in the form of payment by the enterprise that reduced you to one monthly salary.
If the registration was later, then this possibility is irretrievably lost. The right to receive unemployment benefits people who are dismissed for staff reduction, receive only from the fourth month of standing on the register.
If a person is dismissed from work for another wording (except for staff reduction), then he too should not be delayed the opportunity to register at the employment center. The unemployment benefit is assigned to this category of citizens from the first day of their stay on the register. To obtain the maximum amount of the allowance, it is necessary to work out at least twenty six weeks during the year preceding the dismissal.
In order to register at the employment center, regardless of the reason for the loss of work, you must submit the following documents:
1. Passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation;
2. certificate with TIN;
3. documents on education;
4. certificate of salary from the previous place of work.
The salary certificate is often one of the most problematic documents, since for the employment center it has a certain form, which does not represent anything in common with the form of reference required for a loan (2NDFL). Ideally, knowing that the dismissal is coming, it is better to come to the employment center and take a sample of the certificate, then not to go many times to the previous place of work with a request to remake the certificate.
Another of the most common mistakes is that in the accounting department they give information on wages either from the beginning of the year or for the whole period of work. Actually, this is wrong. In the certificate provided to the employment center, it is necessary to reflect the salary for the period of fifty-two weeks preceding the dismissal.
In addition, if the director of the enterprise is also the chief accountant, it is necessary to place an assignment "acting" opposite one of the posts.
