Tip 1: How to register with the employment center
If you are fired from a statewide downsizing enterprise, you must be registered within the first fourteen days. This will allow you to receive additional financial assistance in the form of payment by a company that reduced you one month salary.
If the registration took place later, then this possibility is irretrievably lost. The right to receive unemployment benefits for people who have been dismissed due to staff reductions is obtained only from the fourth month of their registration.
If a person is dismissed from work in a different wording (except for staff reductions), then he also should not delay the opportunity to register at the employment center. Unemployment benefit is laid to this category of citizens from the first day of their stay on the account. To get the maximum amount of benefits, you must work at least twenty-six weeks during the year preceding the dismissal.
In order to register with the employment center, regardless of the reason for losing your job, you must submit the following documents:
1. passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation;
2. certificate with TIN;
3. documents about education;
4. certificate of salary from the previous place of work.
A salary certificate is often one of the most problematic documents, since for a center of employment it has a certain form that does not represent anything in common with the form of a certificate that is required for a loan (2NDFL). Ideally, knowing that the dismissal is coming, it is better to come to the employment center and take a sample of the certificate so that you do not go to the former place of work many times with a request to redo the certificate.
Another of the most common mistakes is that in the accounting department they give information on wages either from the beginning of the year or for the entire period of work. Actually it is wrong. In the certificate provided to the employment center, it is necessary to reflect the wages for the period during the fifty-two weeks preceding the dismissal.
In addition, if the director of the enterprise is also the chief accountant at the same time, then it is necessary to put a postscript “Acting” - acting officer in front of one of the posts.
