Tip 1: How to take sick leave
Call or write to your employer and let him know that you have taken sick leave while on vacation. After the sick leave is closed, take it to the accounting department or send it by registered letter with notification. Attach to the sheet of temporary disability an application to extend your leave due to illness.
The sick-list should be issued according to the rules put into effect on July 1, 2011, and have all seals and stamps. If there are corrections (no more than 2), each of them must be certified by the signature of the attending physician and the seal of the institution (polyclinic, hospital), and be accompanied by the inscription “Corrected to believe”.
The employer must calculate the number of calendar days that fell during the period of illness, excluding days that are holidays by law, and issue an order to extend leave. The order must specify the basis for the extension of leave - the sick-list and its number, as well as the dates of the beginning and end of the illness. In addition, the person responsible for filling out the work sheet must correct the letters “OT” (“leave”) for “B” (“illness”) in it for the whole time of the hospital.
If you decide to transfer the vacation due to you to another time, write a statement addressed to the head of your organization. The manager must issue an order for making changes to the vacation schedule, and the personnel officer must make an appropriate entry in your personal card.
If you were voluntarily on leave without pay, the employer has the right to refuse to transfer or extend leave due to illness. In addition, a sick leave taken by you during your leave to care for a child or another close relative will also not be a sufficient basis for its extension and transfer.
